Program ranked among top four programs in the country
The Compassus hospice program serving Memphis has ranked among the organization’s top four programs in the country and been named a Compassus Program of Distinction for its outstanding performance in 2021. The Memphis program outperformed its peers in six Pillars of Success categories including regulatory compliance, culture, quality care, service excellence, expanding access to service and fiscal responsibility.
Compassus established its Pillars of Success program to unite the company’s 200 locations across 30 states in a common service vision based on measurable goals driving each program to improve the quality of care for hospice patients.
“The Memphis program is a model for quality, compassionate home-based care. This team is not only increasing access to care, but also changing the lives of generations to come,” said Compassus CEO David Grams. “Their commitment is truly impactful and an inspiration to their teammates. I’m proud of the difference they are making in the Memphis community.”
“This recognition is a testament to the success of our program’s leadership and team members in advancing Compassus’ mission to provide exceptional home-based care,” said Memphis Area Executive of Clinical Operations Cathy Hupf. “We are honored to be recognized and as committed as ever to supporting patients’ medical and emotional needs.”
The Memphis program serves patients and families in Fayette, Hardeman, Haywood, Lauderdale, Shelby and Tipton counties. For more information about Compassus, visit our Memphis location page.
