HUNTSVILLE, Texas – Compassus, a nationwide network of community-based hospice palliative, and home health care programs, has opened a new location at 1523 Normal Park Drive, Suite C, in Huntsville, Texas. As part of the Compassus program serving east and west Houston, Compassus – Huntsville will expand access to patients and families in Brazos, Grimes, Harris, Houston, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, Waller and Walker counties.
“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to grow our services and expand access to high-quality hospice care to more Texas communities,” said Luke Myers, RN, executive director. “Our new location in Huntsville will allow us to help more patients experience the highest possible quality of life and benefit from more meaningful moments surrounded by friends and family.”
The mission of Compassus is to provide high-quality and compassionate hospice care to improve quality of life for patients and their families. The supportive care team, which consists of physicians, nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains and volunteers, works together to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of their patients.
