PAYSON, Ariz. – The Compassus hospice program serving Payson has named Caroline Yost, RN, as executive director. Yost, who has been with Compassus since 2008, brings 25 years of clinical and leadership experience to her new role. She most recently served as director of clinical services for the Compassus program in Casa Grande, Arizona.
Yost will oversee day-to-day operations of the program and lead its team of affiliated physicians, medical professionals, social workers, volunteers and other specialists to deliver the highest quality care.
Compassus – Payson serves patients and families in Gila and Coconino counties.
“With years of nursing experience in the field, I have seen firsthand the benefits of hospice care for those facing life-limiting illnesses,” said Yost. “As executive director, I look forward to helping improve access to this type of care and fulfilling the expectations of our patients and their families.”
Yost received her associate’s degree in nursing from Grossmont College in El Cajon, California, and bachelor’s degree in French from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon.
