MOLINE, Ill. – The Compassus hospice program in Moline is moving to a new office space at 4101 John Deere Road, Suite 1, in Moline, Illinois, this week. The program will continue to provide comforting care to patients and their families throughout Henry, Mercer, Rock Island and Whiteside counties.
“We care for our patients wherever they call home, whether it’s their own home or that of a loved one, an assisted living facility or nursing home,” said Jennifer Milroy, executive director of Compassus – Moline. “Our new office will provide better access to our services with the goal of helping more members of our community who are facing a life-limiting illness experience the highest possible quality of life and benefit from more meaningful moments surrounded by friends and family.”
The mission of Compassus is to provide high-quality and compassionate hospice care to enhance quality of life for patients and their families. The care team, which consists of physicians, nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains and volunteers, works together to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of their patients.
Hospice is the original comprehensive approach to health care. No other health care sector is required to address all aspects of a patient’s and family’s health and wellbeing.
