SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Compassus, a nationwide network of community-based hospice programs and palliative care services, has announced the addition of Brian Duff, M.D., as medical director for the program serving Springfield and the surrounding communities.
As medical director, Duff will be responsible for providing quality medical care to patients and working with their physicians to develop care plans that meet their specific needs. He will oversee the entire hospice care team, as well as the protocol for pain and symptom management.

Duff serves as a family practice physician at CoxHealth Center in Nixa, Missouri. He earned his degree in medicine from University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and continued his education at Halifax Family Medicine’s Residency Program in Daytona Beach, Florida, before returning to Missouri.
Duff is board certified in family medicine.
