BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Rocky Mountain Hospice program serving Bozeman and the surrounding communities announced today that it will take on the Compassus name effective immediately. The name change is part of a rebranding initiative following Compassus’ purchase of substantially all Genesis home health and hospice programs, including 10 community-based hospice programs and seven home care programs, earlier this year.
This acquisition brought together two highly respected providers of compassionate post-acute care, creating one of the nation’s largest private independent providers of home health, palliative and hospice services.
“We are excited to officially be a part of the Compassus family,” said Brian Kraft, Executive Director of Compassus – Bozeman. “We look forward to continuing to provide the highest standard of care to our patients and their families under the Compassus name.”
Compassus’ mission is to provide hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families with compassion, integrity and excellence. The company’s goal is provide the greatest possible comfort and care for those who experience one of life’s most intimate and challenging moments.
Last year, Compassus acquired both Hospice Advantage and Life Choice Hospice, expanding the company’s services to 150 locations in 28 states. With the Genesis acquisition, Compassus entered markets in two new states, including Idaho and Montana.
