MARCH, 2014 PROJECT GOOD GRIEF

Hospice Angels Foundation starts Project Good Grief, a bereavement program for children who are dealing with the terminal illness of a loved one or have experienced a death-related loss.

JANUARY, 2014 10TH YEAR

Hospice Angels Foundation celebrates its 10th year having contributed $750,000 to hospice patients and families since our founding in 2004.

MARCH, 2013 FUND DEVELOPMENT

Hospice Angels Foundation hires Jenifer Acosta as Director of Fund Development to oversee fund development and assure adequate funding for foundation operations, services, programs, and special projects.

NOVEMBER, 2011 EMPLOYEE GIVING

Hospice Angels Foundation’s Employee Giving Campaign kicks-off and gives hospice employees the opportunity to give back to a cause that they believe in.

MARCH, 2011 DIRECTOR TILLMAN

2011: Hospice Angels Foundation hires Becky Tillman as Executive Director Tillman to grow, organize, and raise funds for the foundation.

MARCH, 2004 CAMP GOOD GRIEF

2004: Hospice Angels Foundation hosts its first ever Camp Good Grief in conjunction with the Auburn, Alabama office of Hospice Advantage and the East Alabama Medical Center.

JANUARY, 2004 FOUNDED

2004: Hospice Angels Foundation is founded with the goal of helping hospice patients and families who were struggling to make ends meet in the face of terminal illness.

Our Misson

The mission of Hospice Angels Foundation is to “Honor Life and Offer Hope” to terminally ill individuals and their families. This includes basic needs to shelter individuals at the end-of-life, granting last wishes, and providing healthy bereavement support opportunities for children and families.
