COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Compassus hospice program serving Colorado Springs is moving this week to a new office space at 5475 Tech Center Drive, Suite 105, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The program will continue to serve patients and families in Elbert, El Paso, Douglas, Fremont, Pueblo and Teller counties.
“We are dedicated to providing care for our patients wherever they call home, whether in their own home, an assisted living facility or nursing home,” said Lin Howland, executive director of Compassus – Colorado Springs. “Our new office will provide better access to our services with the goal of helping more community members experience the highest possible quality of life and benefit from more meaningful moments surrounded by friends and family.”
The mission of Compassus is to provide high-quality and compassionate hospice care to improve quality of life for patients and their families. The supportive care team, which consists of physicians, nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains and volunteers, works together to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of their patients.
Hospice is the original comprehensive approach to health care. No other health care sector is required to address all aspects of a patient’s and family’s health and well-being.
