Amy Carden and Michelle Garner Inducted Into Compassus Presidents’ Circle

TULLAHOMA, Tenn. – Amy Carden and Michelle Garner, hospice care consultants for the Compassus program serving Tullahoma and the surrounding counties including Bedford, Coffee, Cannon, Franklin, Grundy and Moore, were honored for their outstanding performance and inducted into the 2018 Compassus Presidents’ Circle during a recent awards ceremony at the Compassus National Leadership Meeting in New Orleans.

The Presidents’ Circle is reserved for top-performing Compassus hospice care consultants. Carden and Garner are two of 64 inductees this year, all of whom have consistently expanded access to hospice, palliative and home health care in their communities through education of referral sources and families. This is Carden’s first and Garner’s fifth year receiving the honor.

“Amy and Michelle have consistently shown dedication to helping our patients and their loved ones gain access to the care they need,” said Edie Rimas, executive director of the Compassus – Tullahoma program. “Their hard work and commitment to spreading the Compassus vision is unsurpassed and an inspiration to other colleagues. I am proud of and grateful to them for making a positive impact on the lives of the patients and families we serve.”

“We are honored by this recognition and thankful to be able to do meaningful work that helps patients facing life-limiting illnesses receive the quality end-of-life care they need,” said Carden. “Our clinical team provides the highest quality of care to each of the patients we serve.”

“And we look forward to continuing to serve the needs and fulfilling the expectations of those in Tullahoma and the surrounding counties within our service area,” said Garner.
