OSAGE BEACH, Mo. – Compassus, a nationwide network of community-based hospice programs and palliative care services, today announced the addition of Scott Griswold, M.D., as associate medical director for the program serving Osage Beach and the surrounding communities.
In this role, Griswold will provide quality medical care to patients, working with their team of physicians to develop care plans that meet their specific needs. He will oversee the entire hospice care team, as well as the protocol for pain and symptom management.

Griswold is a physician at the Capital Region Medical Center in Eldon, Missouri, and he was named Physician of the Year for the entire system in 2015. He also serves as medical director and on the board of Miller County Health Center. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He completed his residency in family medicine at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Griswold is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
