PLACENTIA, Calif. – The Hospice Care of California program serving Placentia and the surrounding communities announced today that it will take on the Compassus name effective immediately. The name change is part of a rebranding initiative following Compassus’ purchase of Hospice Care of California in 2014. The program will be known locally as Compassus–Orange County.
“We are excited to officially be a part of the Compassus family,” said Gina Andres, executive director of Compassus–Orange County. “We look forward to continuing to provide the highest standard of care to our patients and their families under the Compassus name.”
Compassus’ mission is to provide hospice and palliative care to terminally ill patients and their families with compassion, integrity and excellence. The company’s goal is provide the greatest possible comfort and care for those who experience one of life’s most intimate and challenging moments.
