Beautiful gifts of compassion and care were delivered to the Richmond Community Hospice House in Richmond, VA – a part of Bon Secours Hospice by Compassus – this holiday season.
Jenni Thompson, Area Executive of Clinical Operations, shared that the family of a hospice patient who passed away this summer gifted “blessing bags” to the hospice house. Intended for families spending time there with their loved ones during the holidays, each thoughtful gift bag contained small comforts and tokens of care.
These supportive and comforting gifts were the family’s way of paying it forward, spreading love and light during what can be a difficult time of year. This act of kindness beautifully reflects our ‘Care for who I am’ philosophy, which lies at the core of our mission and vision. It highlights our unwavering standard of care and deep commitment to supporting both patients and their families with compassion and respect.
