Bringing Education and Community Together: Blooms & Bubbles Drive-Thru CEU Event

Home Health Registered Nurse Preceptor, Kelly McAllister from Evansville, IN, and Hospice Area Executive of Clinical Operations, Jenni Thomspon, from Richmond, VA
At Bon Secours Hospice by Compassus in Richmond, VA, we believe in fostering strong community connections while providing valuable education to those who dedicate their lives to caring for others. That’s why our team recently hosted Blooms & Bubbles, a special drive-thru continuing education unit (CEU) event in partnership with Woody’s Funeral Home/Dignity Funeral Services and JenCare.
Through a warm and welcoming experience, attendees—including nurses, case managers and social workers from across Richmond—were able to drive through the entrance of our Hospice House to receive CEUs and thoughtful spring-themed swag bags. The team provided fresh flowers, branded koozies with sodas and delicious spring cupcakes, while Dignity Funeral Services sponsored the CEU portion of the event.
With 25 attendees, Blooms & Bubbles was more than just an educational opportunity. It was a celebration of collaboration, gratitude and the commitment we all share in serving our community with compassion and excellence.
At Compassus, we are honored to support those who care for others and look forward to more opportunities to connect, learn and grow together. Thank you to our partners and everyone who attended!
