A Holiday Story from Greenville, South Carolina
We believe in making a difference, not only in the lives of our patients but also in our communities. This holiday season, Barbara Mangle, Physical Therapist Assistant, and Amy Holder, Business Office Manager, from Bon Secours Home Care and Hospice by Compassus in Greenville, SC, teamed up with Barbara Hendley, who helps with our outpatient rehabilitation teams, to bring joy to those in need.
Together, they collected over 70 pairs of shoes, socks, toothbrushes and toothpaste for the Christmas Shoes Project, a cause that provides essential items to underserved individuals during the holiday season. With the support of the outpatient rehab department, they delivered over 115 pairs of shoes to the project headquarters, in hopes to bring a more joyful Christmas for many.
Barbara and Amy’s dedication to this annual project embodies the true spirit of Compassus: compassionate care that extends beyond clinical services to touch lives in meaningful ways.
Thank you, Barbara and Amy, for living out our mission and inspiring us all to give back!
