Care Moment: Elvis Party
Our Compassus hospice program serving Bedford, New Hampshire and surrounding communities threw not just one, but two fantastic Elvis-themed parties for two very special patients this past month. It was a celebration that brought joy not only to our patients but also to the whole community!
Our amazing Bedford team didn’t just stop at planning a regular party—they went above and beyond! They teamed up with the Hospice Helps Foundation to make a dream come true by bringing in The King himself to perform.
The party wasn’t just about music; it was a blast from the past, filled with Elvis-themed decorations that made everyone feel like they were in the presence of royalty. And what’s a party without some yummy treats? Compassus volunteers made sure there were delicious banana cream pie puddings to enjoy, making the celebration ‘All Shook Up’ with happiness and delight.
To the entire Bedford team, thank you for your hard work and dedication to our ‘Care for Who I am’ philosophy. You truly embodied our core values of compassion, integrity, excellence, teamwork, and innovation and didn’t just throw a party; you created an unforgettable experience for our patients and their families….as Elvis himself would say himself, “Thank you very much!”
