Honoring Veterans – Robert, Richard and Tom

  Our Davenport, Iowa hospice program had the privilege of performing a ‘We Honor Veteran’s Pinning Ceremony at Assisted Living & Memory Care facility, Addington Place of Clinton earlier this month. The pinning ceremony honored Air Force Veteran Robert Farwell, U.S. Army Veteran Richard Carstensen, and Coast Guard Veteran Tom Lackiewicz. 

In addition to honoring veterans with a pinning ceremony, Compassus Hospice Care Consultant Julie Sanders had the privilege of presenting roses as a ‘thank you’ to spouses of veterans. “It was very moving with the stories the wives shared of sacrifice and commitment” Julie said.

Thank you to Julie Sanders and the entire Davenport team for sharing our ‘Care for Who I am’ culture by honoring our vets and their families. Most importantly, thank you Robert, Richard, and Tom for your unwavering service and dedication in protecting our freedoms.
