An Important Message from Our Chief Executive Officer
At Compassus, our company is built on the foundation of our core values—compassion, integrity, excellence, teamwork and innovation. Acting in a manner consistent with these values is one of the most important everyday practices in the role of every member of the Compassus team.
Our Code of Ethical Conduct sets forth our commitment and responsibilities to always do the right thing and be accountable for our actions. Like our commitment to providing compassionate, high‐quality care and service in our communities, it begins with each of us.
It’s our expectation that Compassus teammates do the right thing every time in every daily interaction with patients and families, referral partners, regulatory agencies, payers, business partners and one another. Our industry is highly regulated, and every decision and action we make should reflect and solidify our reputation for delivering the highest standard of integrated home-based care.
Compassus’ reputation for integrity and excellent care, which distinguishes us from our competitors, has been built over many years by a diverse team of dedicated individuals. Our ethical foundation to always do the right thing is woven into each care delivery, strategic imperative, business priority and operational initiative. It is ingrained in our culture that we are each personally responsible for conducting ourselves ethically, honestly, and with an unwavering commitment to quality and safety.
The Code of Ethical Conduct provides guidance to help ensure the company follows applicable laws, rules and regulations. It signifies the commitment of each team member to uphold our company’s mission, vision, core values, policies and procedures.
In the event a teammate, patient, family member, referrer or any other stakeholder who interacts with us see or experience something that goes against our Code of Ethical Conduct, we encourage them to act immediately. Concerns can be emailed to Compassus Compliance at compliance@compassus.com or made through our Compliance Line at 1-866-569-7193 where reports can be made anonymously. Compassus takes each concern seriously and does not tolerate retaliation or retribution for compliance or quality of care concerns reported in good faith.
It’s an honor for me to have the opportunity to lead a team that lives our Care for who I am culture by doing the right thing and treating others the way we would want to be treated.
