At Compassus, our mission is serving terminally ill patients and their families with Compassion, Integrity, and Excellence. The Colleagues of Compassus are committed to keeping The Hospice Promise by delivering the highest quality of care, serving the needs of patients and families and spreading the stories of hospice to those whom they come into contact. Our goal is to provide the greatest possible comfort and care for those who experience one of life’s most intimate and challenging moments.

Services Provided

Specific services available through this location:

  • Admission 7 days a week
  • Ancillary therapies provided for the relief of pain or other symptoms
  • Assistance in-home with companionship and caregiver respite
  • Available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
  • Bereavement grief support and counseling: pre-death and for 13 months following the death of a loved one
  • Care provided wherever you call home, whether it be a hospital, nursing home, assisted living center, personal care home or your personal residence
  • Caregiver support groups
  • Community outreach and education programs
  • Compassus Connection hospice bridge program
  • Continuous care when needed
  • Day-to-day medical care provided by RN Case Managers and Hospice Home Health Aide
  • Deyta Hospice Honors Award recipient
  • Dietary consultation
  • Inpatient acute care – for treatment of pain and/or symptoms that fail to yield to home care management
  • Light housekeeping
  • Local call nurses
  • Medications, medical supplies, and equipment as needed for the treatment of pain or symptoms associated with life-limiting illness
  • Non-denominational Chaplain and spiritual services/counseling
  • Pain and symptom management centered around patient and family goals
  • Personal physician, hospice medical director and RN coordinated care
  • Pharmacy
  • Physician directed comfort care

  • Trained Volunteers
